1. As per Government of India, Department of Education Notification Order No.F.11-3/2016-Sch.3,dated 15/11/2021, and the Equivalency granted by the Association of Indian Universities(AIU), new Delhi, which was published in the Gazette of India on 20-11-2021., No.-CG-DL-E-20112021-231254,it has been unequivocally stated that: " Equivalence granted by AIU will be automitically considered as inter-se parity between the Boards in India, permitting smooth inter-school Education Board migrations. The equivalence given by AIU to a School Education Board shall be valid at an all-India level for the purpose of Higher education and Employment."
2. Bharath Institute of Schooling education(BISE) has been accorded equivalency by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) vide No. AIU/EV/IN(I)2025/486. The Order States that " The equivalence of Grade 12 Board Examination/Qualification/Courses conducted by BISE, Bengaluru, Karnataka, with the Senior Secondary Examination/Qualification/Courses conducted by CBSE and other recognised Boards in India has been officially validated for the purposes of admission to higher education institutions and employment in Central and state Government Organizations/ bodies".
